2021 Making it a year to focus on what I can control

 



Starting in 2021, I decided I'm going to buckle down on my nutrition and share all my recipes, kitchen tips, and any other health tips I have or come across.  Since God had different plans for us with having another baby already doing my workouts aren't going to be the same as I planned to, and I cannot control that, but I can still control my nutrition.  I want to help you if you struggle to figure out meal prep, or coming up with family friendly recipes that are also still healthy for yourself.  Trust me I have one of those families that I'm the only one eating "healthy" or watching how much I eat so I try to not make 2 separate meals.  Also having kids, you all know the snack list goes high and typically then yours gets smaller because of a simply thing called a budget. 


Another thing I am going to focus on in 2021 that I can control and have let get out of control in 2020, is my mindset.  In 2020 I had a baby and also got pregnant again before planning on it again.  After having Madison I was set on focusing on myself and losing the baby weight and being 100% comfortable again.  I was starting to feel that way even if they pounds weren't falling off. But once I got pregnant again my mind started going the wrong way. I was honestly angry for awhile. It meant the lbs weren't going to come off or the inches anymore and that I was going to have slowly back off working out the way I was. I can still do it but just not as intense.  My plan was to get back to 100% where I wanted to be and then have our last baby. I still catch myself being upset and trying to push my body harder than I should expecting to still watch the scale number go down.  So my plan is to work on my mindset in 2021 as well. Which I know is something all of us can work out, and love our bodies in every step of our health journey! 


So my plan is to write everyday on here and social media with check ins. I want this to be a place people can come and feel supported and find others who are in the same boat as them who will be a great success partner.  So make sure you sign up for the email notifications when the posts come out.  Each day will have different content. From just check ins on yourself and where you are at. Food ideas, self care options and other fun ideas.  


So since we're starting something new here I want to introduce myself to anyone who is new here. 
I am Brittany, the face behind the blog. I am a wife to Jake. We will have been married for 8 years July of 2021. We have 4 kids. Sawyer 5, Sadie 3, Beau 2, Madison 9 months and I am 16 weeks pregnant with our bonus baby who is due in June. I am a beach body coach since I had Madison in March. I have found myself again while helping other moms, and women find themselves and change their lives. I have and am still working on making my health and fitness a priority and importance in my life more than it has been since I was a teenager working on being in shape for senior year of soccer. I would love to help you change your life even if its one recipe or meal prep calendar at a time. 

Here is to 2021 and making it a year of positive change no matter the things we cannot change.
